Friends and Transit Advocates,
In partnership with Arizona PIRG, Arizona Forward, and Phoenix Community Alliance, Friends of Transit will be hosting an educational breakfast event for Prop. 479, the continuation of an existing, dedicated half-cent sales tax in Maricopa County to fund transportation, whose extension will be determined by voters on November 5, 2024.
The purpose of this event is to inform and educate on the facts of Prop. 479 and to discuss the importance of transit and transportation in the Greater Phoenix Region and Maricopa County.
