The ACEC Arizona Board of Directors meets monthly, here's what they have been working on this month...

  • Get ready for the 2024 Engineering Excellence Awards Breakfast on Friday, October 18th. Let's celebrate our amazing winners!

  •  We at ACEC Arizona are passionately backing Prop 479 through the Connect Maricopa Executive Committee. We've been busy with campaign fundraisers, securing a $75,000 ACEC Arizona State PAC grant from National Minuteman funds, providing in-kind campaign support, organizing get-out-to-vote activities, and teaming up with like-minded industry organizations.

  •  We're also fully behind Pinal County's Prop 486 Road Maintenance Fund campaign. We've been hustling with local fundraisers, scoring a $30,000 ACEC Arizona State PAC grant from National Minuteman funds and local contributors, and collaborating with industry organizations.

  • Exciting news! Our newly activated Southern Arizona Liaison is already making waves and influencing the RTA's next election, which is expected in 2025. Be sure to mark your calendars for the next meeting on November 13th at 12:00 p.m. in Tucson. Let's catch up over lunch!

  • The 2024 ACEC Arizona Conference on Roads and Streets was a massive success! With over 1600 attendees and 140 exhibitors, the conference received tremendous support. We're committed to making the conference even better in the future. A huge shoutout to the Conference Committee for their outstanding efforts and contributions.

  • Our Board recently held its 6th Principals' Roundtable at the 2024 Conference on Roads and Streets in Tucson. We had fruitful discussions about plans for the Executive Director Search, early 2025 planning, and enhancing advocacy with agency partners and legislators. Stay tuned for the announcement of the Dpring 2025 Principals Roundtable dates in December.

  • Heads up! The LEAP application period will open later this month. Plus, we've got two new LEAP Alumni sessions coming in 2025.

  • Exciting times ahead! The Executive Director search committee is meeting weekly to finalize the direction and position of the advertisement process. More details will follow next month.
